- Jeff Smith has a great post on the Little-Known T-SQL Function: NULLIF().
- Eric Wendelin tells us How to suck at software development. I am likely guilty of at least 1 of these (maybe more), but I am trying to change…I promise.
- Wow! This post from Rick Strahl goes into a lot of detail. Should make for great reference material once I am able to start working with LINQ.
- Real World Software Development has posted a good listing of reasons to switch sides and be a Tester instead of a Developer.
- Hans-Eric Grönlund continues his series on Tools of the Effective Developer with Personal Logs and Programming By Intention.
- Bill Graziano has posted a list of the Top 10 SQL Server Blogs at Microsoft. That should narrow it down for me. I never know where to go as far as MS Blogs.

- Jonas Stawski has posted a great article on the Simple-Talk website on Take Row-Level Control of Your GridView.

- This is a good list on Zen Habits. I am always looking for ways to simplify things a little.
- In my continuing quest to be a more well-rounded individual, I have started listening to a podcast named The Word Nerds. In each episode, some aspect of language is explained in great detail with good life examples.
- John Place has posted an article on 13 Simple Ways to Be Happier. Most of them really make sense.
- Lifehacker has a great article on Covering your Butt at Work Through Notes. I am a firm believer in taking notes and logging your work each day.
Sports, Entertainment and Everything Else
- Gateworld has posted a great interview with Jewel Staite. She played in the series Firefly and movie Serenity and is now to be on Stargate Atlantis.
- Mars is approaching the best viewing position it will provide to us until the year 2014. Time to get the good ole Skywatcher telescope out.
